What this covers

This policy describes the Stick N Bones website, player portal and messaging. Questions or requests about your information can be sent to sticknboneshockey@gmail.com.

Public profiles and club information

Published player profiles, photos, roster details, captain contact information, schedules, stories and gallery images can be viewed by anyone. Share only information you are comfortable making public. Ask an administrator to correct or remove profile information. Archiving a player or unpublishing a new image restricts current site access, but cannot recall copies already saved or cached elsewhere.

Accounts, cookies and device storage

Accounts store your email, name, password hash, linked player identity and access status. Invitation and recovery links are sensitive, expire and are single-use. Opening a link does not itself accept an invitation or reset a password.

Necessary session cookies keep you signed in and help protect requests. Theme preferences and optional list-navigation context use browser storage; list context is cleared on logout or account change. The application does not include advertising analytics or marketing trackers.

Messages and private uploads

Global and team channels are available according to current account and team access. Direct messages are available to their participants. Admin inbox messages are shared with administrators; they are not a private conversation with one specific administrator. Moderation permissions follow the channel’s access rules.

Messages, reactions, read state and attachments are stored by the messaging service. Draft website images have authenticated previews; publishing a referenced image makes it public. These services are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive health information through chat.

External services and links

When enabled, GIF searches and GIF media are requested through our server from GIPHY. GIPHY receives search terms and server requests; your account email and chat message text are not included in GIF searches. See the GIPHY Privacy Policy.

SportNinja schedule embeds connect your browser to SportNinja when loaded. Facebook, photo albums, map directions and shop destinations have their own policies. Emailing the club uses your email service. Optional account emails, when configured, send the account or chosen invitation address and necessary link content to the delivery service; sending and receipt are different events.

Security, retention and your choices

Hosting and security logs may record IP addresses, request times and technical errors. Account, roster, publication, audit and message records may remain for club operations, security, history and backups. There is no automatic deletion schedule for all records. Expired recovery material is no longer usable; backups or previously public copies can remain after a change.

Contact the club to request access, correction, removal or account closure. We will review the request and explain operational or legal limits rather than promise immediate deletion of every copy. Use a unique password, keep links private and report suspected misuse promptly.
